I like the new look of Operation Overgrow...its more of a natural color!

I planted 6 seeds...4 came out to 3 inches each.
Transplanted them 7 days ago...and now! they've stoped growing !!!!
they froze in growth since the transplant

seed strain : mutt....i dont know ! same as previous harvest
dirt : all purpose
pots :2x 1 1/2 gallon..2x 5Litres
lights : 5 x 34 watts 4 ' gro-sho florescent
room : 4'hi-5'wd-2'dp
water : tap ..usual 24hr stand

PS I have 2 other plants of 1 1/2 month old at 15" each in 1 1/2 gal each
same ingredients as above ????

I'd say the growth is just stunted from the transplantation. Also, i've found that the first 3-5" come VERY quickly and then growth slows down ALOT before anything else happens. Annoying isnt it?? i hate waiting! anyways, give yer plants a break, they are doin their best! jus have patients, they will grow you good buds.
peace

thanks elzz!
yeah....shocked they are!
the 4 are in poor condition...i gave them a bit of that Shultz Starter Plus...root stimulator!
two are off the crutches, one is still on crutches....and i think i'll have to arrange a funeral for the other one....its in a coma....sleeping flat on the dirt...
Should i keep them very wet or what?
thanks for now...

PS they were transplanted twice in 2 days...doh!
i bought this soil that had 3 diferent kind of soil in one( CIL)...it was like foam once i added water to it...so i freaked out and got the usual potting soil...and transplanted them again...thats why i'm here struggling to get info or prayers for my duh!!! action.

DONT FERT SEEDLINGS!!!! water em like once every 3 days.. i water on sunday, friday, and wednesday. dont mess with ferts until they are good and strong. only use root stimulator if they are clones! and dont put any kinda fert on the leaves! they get burnt if ya do.

use regular potting soil mixed with vermicule and perlite. i dont know what a good ratio is.. look it up in a grow guide.. but straighten yur act up or yur gonna be sending all your lil girls to a soggy grave dont worry i made the exact same mistakes.. well not exact, but close!

zzzuuuuuh...... soory but u should really read a basic growers guide! or use the search function.

quick answer tho.. soak seeds in water for 24 hours in a cup above a heating pad in a dark place. then put em 1/4 - 1/2" under the pottingsoil in styrofoam 20oz cups with holes in the bottom. putplastik wrap on the top to keep the moisture in. pu back on heating pad until you see dsprout, then put under the lights.
peace

Thanks again elzz!

I'll go back to the drawing board with the seeds and thanks a million for your help.

My two 15" plants of 7weeks old are 3 feet away from the lights !
because i'm looking for height.... is this a good idea ?
or should i get the lights down to 2 to 3 inches from the tips of the plants?

My last harvest was a disaster ..
2 plants of 2 feet...brought in less than 25 grams! all together....

I'm just slingshooting you some questions...I appreciate your time.

PS...I've read a lot!! but to me... it looks like there's too many cooks! when i search for answers.

Get those light closer, unless your using halogen

Ahhh, thats when you come in here and start picking brains. There isnt any single way thats best, your setup and plants determine what your going to do in the end.
You may not think what you read in all those threads is helpful, but in 6 months, youll understand the way it opens your mind to other possibilities in your garden.

Good luck
