early flower and nutes
permalink

hey guys,
for the next grow i ws going to use a much shorter flower time to jsut have a few very small plants. so i was wondering, if my veg state only ends up being 2 weeks long and i never feel teh need to start adding nute in that time, is it ok to go to flower and instantly star using flowering nutes?

I don't see much happeneing in two weeks in the first place...me thinks they need more than a 2 week veg. stage....

I would use a good soil to help keep them fed. I like the foxfarm soils. I am not sure, however, regarding the two week veg time. I am assuming you are talking from seed? I have never tried to induce flowering in such a young plant. Since the plant is not yet mature, I am not sure if this will be successful or not. I could see the plant stalling for a week or two before really flowering or freaking out and going hermie on you. I would consider topping, bending, etc for height control and give 'em an extra week or two.

I believe that if your force flower early, then your plant will only produce some bud on the main cola, as you would not have given it enough time to grow the secondary structure to produce bud elsewhere.

as far as I know...They must be mature enough...otherwise they will take awhile to show and will produce very little immature bud
