blue- glad to hear you had a good experience. how often did you change the water and how long did you soak the bud
Daily, for about eight days I think. Like I said though, I really don't think you can put a flat number of days on it. It will make you want to gag when you change the water, and then it won't. Then it's done, simple.

Good topic...

Just about a week or so ago I told myself I needed to look into water curing becuase I sprayed my plants with something that left a residue on them about a week before I harvested it.
I was thinking that the soaking would release that residue into the water.
However-
Being pretty stressed out the last couple of weeks and planning to be away for a few days I decided I just couldn't do it.

But my eyes are wide open and I'm paying attention to this thread.

Anyone offer any explanation as to why dankman's water smells so sweet?

And what do you think that oil is that's coming to the top?

Did you use Neem Oil in your grow? Is the bud organically grown?

Peace-
OD :snow:

There really is no right way to grow, you have to resonate with a style and learn what you can,
tweak it to your own style and raise the bar each grow... OD '07

I reckon the oil would be stray trichomes and other oils and waxes that the plant produces, don't know why it smells sweet

whats up outdoors? glad to see you keeping a close eye on this thread. im not growing organiclly though, im using the infamous MG potting soil that feeds up to 3 months, i didnt use any ferts during veg. for flowering im using FF tiger bloom, as for the neem oil, ive never used it before. from all the info ive read on water curing i would assume it would get rid of the residue on your buds, unless of course its not a water soluable residue.
