![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeaah curing in any type of alchohol isn't reccommended. As Bluecheese mentioned the THC will be dissolved and all you'll be left with is plant material and no THC. Definatley goin the wrong way there. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | Cool idea! I have never tried this, but I had a couple thoughts reading it. Try using distilled water. It seems the less dissolved salts in the water, the more likely salts/nutrients will leave the plant matter to balance out. Why not refrigerate the whole deal? Maybe it would take a little longer to acheive the same leaching effect, but you would have way less likelihood of funky water. Don't shake it tho, the cold water will make more trichromes break off. Which brings me to my next thought - i'd be curious to find out what would happen if someone were to save the water and boil it with some butter, then cool and separate the butter? If you were doing enough buds, I wouldn't be surprised if the butter turned magical. I'm wondering if the oily substance seen floating on top contains thc. I definitely wouldn't do this if the water smelled funky tho. fro

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i dunno.. if you boil it, it should kill off harmful things... not like we're using water taken from hot springs or somethin where life can survive at 400 degrees. but damn, boiling takes a looooong time. which brings up an interesting question... those shrimp that live at the bottom of the ocean at the volcanic vents of 600+ degrees... how do you cook them?

Yeah imagine thats why Freakshow is suggesting using it with the butter to then get the fallen of trichs to attach to the butter from the water, not a bad idea, make sure you are getting use of them, even if they fall off during the water curing water exchanges. Happy Growing Alleycat
