Well Mr Frank believes that the best harvest time is at night. Actually just before sunrise is what is suggested. It is also theorized by some researches that the most resin production occurs during the night cycle. I really don't think it makes a huge amount of diff in the overall resin coverage of the entire plant but I do harvest generally right before the light comes on just how things are setup and my availability to do have the time ya know. But I also think the night is the best to harvest ![]() LB

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This has been asked other places and usually draws the same answers. On paper, harvesting at the end of a light cycle makes more sence. Unfortunately most of what they are making during that photo period never gets used because of the sudden death. I've experimented and found that when cut early in the "morning", or just before the lights come on is best for all phases of manicuring, drying, and curing. There are many theories as to why, but I have seen the difference with mine own eyes. Try an experiment when you do harvest. Take half of them before the light comes on, and leave the rest till the end o the 12. You will notice that the plants are easier to work with. It's been a while or I would be more specific. I usually don't keep the harvesting files in the forebrain until closer to harvest. ![]() Frodo, tell Bilbo I said high and I'll be around this summer for his birthday party. ![]() Smiles, BD ![]()

![]() | I have actually Harvested at night once, and I understand what your'e saying, they are easier to work with, they seem all sapped up. When I think about it, pre dawn harvest suits my set up better. Thanks Butterfly Dreams, and yes you are very welcome to the elventy first birthday of Bilbo,No presents, just bring snacks. See Ya Frodo.

![]() | I find that its nighttime when the sweet stench starts wafting out of the cupboard .. so Id been thinking that most of the resin production and flower growth actually happens at night .. which made me think that a morning cut would be optimun ... do other people find a similar pattern for when their flowering plants smell the strongest? like when the lights go out its almost like there is a wee odour factory going off in there just pumping out that smell we all know and raise an eyebrow at ![]() cyas lurka
