dude..i have a question...you mention that your colas are so HUGE...and that scrog and sog methods produce puny-sized results..
dude..your colas are far from HUGE...
i dont want to come off like a **** at all, but i have seen scrog fatty colas about 3 times the size of what your holding up in that one pic...

what I notice with your plants is that you are producing medium-sized colas, and ALOT of little popcorn nuggets...which arent worth much... (i guess they add up, but whatever)..
anmyway man.., you need to start cutting some of your ndergrowth away...
you have SO MUCH little growth stems all over the place...and they sit way lower than the canopy..and they take a huge amount of energy away from the plant..and more importantly, from the TOPS!!

if you got rid of all this growth, and left just like 4-6 main growth points...the biggest ones...you would have donkey-**** sized colas man..and not all these little nuglettes....

try it on a plant or two...see what happens..

i had the same issue...and i was told the same thing./..
and it was BY FAR the best thing i have done to my plants!!

keep on keepin'..!

about how tall was your plant before harvest. When you harvest you pretty much deroot the plant and dry it out. So if you do then you have to save a peice to grow more right. What peice would you save then. How long from germination to harvest for yours. I am just trying to get an idea about time and money for my projects.

Delta, nice documented project. Right now I'm into the harvest stage, taking each plant as it ripens up and just about do things the way you do with very little variation and found it to be the best method I've used over the years. There is nothing like a properly dried and cured bud. Out of 24 plants from seed, I wound up with 15 females(one of which hermed. on me about a month into flowering and only fertilized very few buds, lucky for me I was paying attention)Now with 14 ripening females I check every day to try and pick em when they look right to me, then I isolate them in the dark for 24-48 hours of dark, then cut em down and hang. Obviously the top does mature a little faster, but, between tying the plant in various ways to allow as much light to reach the whole plant, everything is pretty dam ripe when I cut it down. I've been into training plants for years, and to me that's the best trick anyone ever taught me. Thanks for all the work you put into this thread, we never know it all, and you shared so much insight into this hobby of ours, I thank you. Happy gardening to all.

I was wondering if u were gonna make the curing 101 thread to go with this.....

I think it would help alot of people.......

Basically "like u said Curing is just slowly drying out the final crop as slow as possible"

but how exactly do u do that?????

I would think tupperware and allow air in maybe ever 12 hrs but what do u do delta

THANKS Delta
