![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah I've always gotten hay smell too, for almost everything I've ever grown. Usually the good smell comes back after a week or two in the jars. A few varieties have smelled great all the way through drying , but only a few, and they get a lot stronger smelling with curing. ![]() penguin

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | first off i want to say that is a nice looking plant. i would go with hanging the whole plant, but hanging the whole plant would be like me cutting myself in half.. id let it grow be carefull not to touch your buds to much during flowering or harvest( i no u have to) because it rubs off precious THC. to help ease your mind on the hay smell, i took a fellow grower into my hay barn and he said it smell like curing bud.. i had no idea what he was talking about, but it makes sense now because you are having the same problem. his stuff was good , so im pretty sure the hay smell didnt affect the *grade* of the smoke. i hope you find that your buds will taste good. i couldnt care less as long as its good stuff.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Seems like everyone understands your situation. Your never going to get that beautiful smell as quick as you want it. Patience can not be stressed more with the plant. Whether it be sprouts, veg, alt. nodes, dry/cure, you have to have patience. On my first grow, I chopped, dried, and smoked within 5 days mistake. Harsh smoke, harsh smell, and just a OK high. Dry and cure those nugs with patience. You will love the end result.
