have you done the bending of the stems to see how much moisture is deep inside? if they are already crispy dry then i wouldnt recomend a fan. depends on how big n fat they are. usually 6-8 days has been normal drying time for me and then the last of the manicure and curing we go. seems like ur doing everything right to me

is the fan pointing at the buds?

sounds like too little humidity in there, might try at first to point the fan at a distant wall or remove it.

the mj can reabsorb moisture, check the stems, if they still wet, check the above, wait a few days. later when you put them in jars, you can put perhaps a slice of lemon or whatnot, for a few hours or so, more or less.

i wouldnt panic, quite possibly one with better ideas will pop in and ive heard worse stories that went well.

Your humidity for drying is actually in the right range...maybe a bit low but less concerns of mold.

I would put a fan on speed control low in a far end of the room, have it blowing a slight breeze towards the buds. You don't need much, just air movement.

When your stem 'cracks' when bending it they should be ready to go into the jar for curing.

If your buds are drying out a little too fast you could opt to do 2 things:

1) Leave your leafs on your plant when you chop it and do a dry trim when its fully dried. This will help slow down drying time by a day or two.

2) If your like me and prefer wet trim but your finding that your buds are drying out a bit fast (IE 4 days) I would opt to put the buds in a mason jar for a few (4-10) hours on day 3 or so to slow the drying (but not mold), then continue on with your regular drying techniques outside of the jar until they are fully dried and the stem snaps.

In Africa they bury the stuff in corn husks and dig it up several months latter is this what you meant? How does weed ferment?
