I think it's the UV in sunlight that degrades THC, and it's gradual over time. An incandescent light isn't going to have any discernible effect.

Alleycat...

Thanks for your advice!
It's 3 plants, all late starts. This is my first grow so i have no idea how much ill be harvesting off of them. They are about 2 feet tall,2 ft 9 inches being my biggest girl.Tons and tons of budsites,i also lsted the one girl and it ended up stretching out of its LST,but it still retained a crazy amount of bushiness.Ive made an outdoors drying box right now that im hoping will accomodate my harvest.Deced it out with screens etc etc.Ive got some silica gel packets for my camera gear, and i picked up a lot of heat pads from right aid.I dont know when i should harvest, but my target date is the day before frost, which is Oct 25th.Ill flush the girls a few good times before then too.Again, thank you everybody for the advice,i think im going to use my crawlspace,i dont think the smell can go through a sill plate and floor joyces, plus insulation.Let's hope i'm right...

well I hope it works out for ya.

never underestimate the power of weed. the smell is very penetrating...especially because it's constantly giving off scent. I have that Sour D in my light tight cab, with the 2 doors shut and I can still smell that damn thing...

I hope for you as well that the smell isn't too bad.

should I still post up the schematic for the insulated box or are you good with what you've got?

good luck and best wishes bro

peace

Very ironic.. That was the name of the post I was just about to make! My family was pissed at how bad it was stinking up the house so I was forced to take it outside (They've been out there in a brown paper bag for almost 2 days, between 40-60 degrees). I did read through these posts, and im not trying to be rude by asking questions in his post, but maybe itll help him too!

#1: What is the biggest problem you could have drying them outside? Im going to assume mold? How fast could this become a problem! If it can be quick I really need to know so I can take action now before its ruined!

#2: Will a carbon scrubber eliminate the smell without electronic circulation? Say a cardboard box with only one exit, being the hole cut out for the carbon scrubber?

#3: Where can you buy a carbon scrubber? Is it expensive?

Thank you so much for reading and I hope the author of this thread finds any possible answers useful! I <3 gardenscure

losttime is beginning to sprout.

Ask a dear friend of yours who is trust worthy to dry them at their place for you. Feed them some story about how your found them or something, but for some weird reason your mom has to move in and you'll hoook it them up. I'm sure you'll come up with something.
