Ok, so this cat does some cooking using both thc butter, and thc oil.

I like to be able to just receipes for some reason buy being able to use 1/4 cup of either in a receipe, and the individual pieces of that receipe are potent enough to feel the effects good.

Not super bad, cause I have one friends wife, that does not like them super strong like most, but I feel it with the 1/4 of either that's for sure.

And most things have quit a range of variable, and like brownies have one now that's 2/3's cup for the same 13x9 pan, that I can feel them good with 1/4 cup.

These ones I wouldn't give my friends wife either, you really feel the latest ones.

Anyway, here's the most important part to me with getting either my butter or oil to that point.

The product you use.

So here we go.

Here's the Blueberry plant I'm gonna trim up. I wet trim obviously, which I like better, but to each his/her own.



I keep 2 boxes with garbage bags in them, one for trash, and one for either making oil, butter, bubble hash, tumbler, whatever you want.


First I'm picking off the whole leaves, and ones like this where you can see it's mostly thc, go into the save box.



But this leave you notice the thc only where all the fingers start. I want to get rid of the leaf area with no thc on it.

I just fold the leaves in on each other, and then rip the tips off at whatever length the thc stops on the leaves.



And the stem of the leave has thc over it, and usually pretty soft, so won't hurt if gone thru the bubble bags screens. So want to save this, with the leaf part with thc on it.



So one rip, and this gets thrown into the save box. Tips into the trash, or campfire box, as mine gets burned during the summer usually.

Then I cut the branches off so they hang by themselves, if you don't know how that is, just say, and I can add one picture to this post and I'll take one.

Holding each branch, I then cut off the frosted leaf around the bud over the save box. This is what my buds look like going into the drying phase.

I also found some old popcorn buds, so removed them from the stems and added them to the save box.




Ok, that's how this cat trims for those interested.

I'll be posting my butter and oil making ways separately within the next week or so, so watch for what to do with your save box, seems I already have a box full, and more on the way.

If you don't want to rip the leafs off, and have alot of them, I suggest you cut your pile in half, and run it thru your butter, or oil twice instead, depends, but can get the same 1/4 potency I and my friends like.

Ok, this is how I cut them off the main stem every branch with part of the main stem, so they end up with their own hangers to hang on a line. Sorry the bud is blurry, but think you can see the stem.

I have to stay off here when I'm stoned so bad huh??

Ok well I have another hanging tip, and I was wondering how much I got off one plant, which I don't know, but can post that up if you want it on the next one.

I happen to have a box of this trim, but for those of you with only a few plants, should give you an idea what to get, and how much cooking you'll be able to do.

More of a hanging tip here I guess.

When you are cutting the stem, you might run across a couple branches that are to close together to cut them, and still be able to hang them, like these two here.



You should be able to split the stem down the center of them, and then hang them individually.


This way works good, IMHO for hanging them on strings and such. Either in rooms, or boxes, but on strings that won't be bumped at all.

In a box, works great, cause then the buds line up right next to each other.



But if you have something you move you buds around on, I'd suggest doing this and leaving those ones and not splitting them.

This rack is brought out when working on the plants, and locked in a room for drying. I've tried hanging them on here with only the one branch with some stem for a hanger, and it sucks to have buds drop on your carpet. IMHO

What's up man! Good info here. Just a question, what are you talking about 1/4 cup? I'm confused I think...do you use a quarter cup in your brownie recipe or am I confused?

Sso---Thanks bud, I'll be getting on those within the next 6 days here, so they should be coming for you all.

JW---For cooking, if the recipe only calls for 1/4 cup of either the oil or the butter, I want that amount of butter/oil to get me good and high. That makes it alot easier to make knockout stuff, cause there are alot of receipes that call more more of each, up to 4 times, so 4 times the potency. Does that make better sence for you ?? If not, I'll try again. Glad to see you around bud too.
