i suppose the machine does all size buds but, heres where it gets loose. i guess it depends on what or who your growing for. i decided to keep about 12 big crowns for myself in tact on the stem all up it would be as long as my forearm. now that will certainly not fit in the machine. [Admin Note: No discussion * about selling, trafficking, smuggling, or mailing of medicine or drugs.] those buds are to big for the machine. i did however breakdown another 15-20 stems equal to the ones i kept and it needs to be cut down into clusters to fit in the machine. i have yet to find a cluster that doesnt fit. Anyway lets face it if we all grew only giant buds no body would need a trimmer because the bigger the bud the easier it is to trim. Its the bastard little to medium sizes ones that everybody gets sick of quickly, so depends what you plans are for the buds after they're dry. if you doing only a couple p's or less then its not such a big deal. if youve got 4 or more to do, it just gets to boring and i find myself wishing there was nothing but crowns because i get in the frame of mind that, i just want to not do it anymore. anyway if you want to keep big buds on the stem and long the machines useless, [No discussion * about selling, trafficking, smuggling, or mailing of medicine or drugs.]you've gottta remove that stem anyway and in that case the machine is suitable for %99 of the buds you'll grow. i have some sweet pics, my bro's got them and isnt back home for anther 3-4 days, theyre on his memory card in his camera with him(boo). ill get them up the moment hes back. take care all, hope this helps. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 4bigbudz, thanks for the reply man. I do understand what you saying for the big buds, after all the company that sells it tells you, that all the clusters have to be off the stem. IMO, the machine can really help a perpetual grower that grows more than an individual home grower. I'll love to see some picks though from someone like you, that bought the machine, and not that I wasn't impressed with the man that used it on U-Tube, I just want to see an average grower using it and explain the difficulty of using it, if any, how good the buds are getting trimmed and if there is any damage to the buds after they come out from the machine, also how well build its the machine. As of the price, I don't know why some members are bitching about it, if someone is growing for a medical facility and gets couple hundred dollars per oz, the price its only 3 oz. So yes I think its a very good investment VS all the hrs someone puts to trimming monthly or weekly. Looking forward to some picks, bud. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | well, I for one see a couple design flaws in the trimmer that I really don't like. 1. the handle, for the cost, that sure is one flimsy looking handle... 2. the height to width ratio, it's far from a right triangle. I'll bet that thing has a tendency to fall/tip over while using it. he looked like he was being pretty cautious as well. lol 3, and probably most importantly, look at the close up the gears. being a licensed mechanic, and learning everything from a licensed aircraft mechanic, I can see that those gears are not meshed properly, and have a lot of slop. the width between gears is near perfect if you take a regular piece of computer paper, push the gearing together with the paper between it, and tighted the gears at that width. getting the paper out is no big deal, just roll the gears. not so tight that it's damaging the paper, just creasing it. not to mention, it looks like there's slop between where the 3 little gears are attached. I look at that thing I see a cheap production line pile of junk thats not going to work for long. other then that, the idea for popcorn buds is a good one. just make a nicer quality before asking such insane prices. there are better auto-trimmers out there IMHO. thanks for sharing man, I hope I'm wrong, hope it lasts for you. happy spinnin, or trimmin ![]() -Matt

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | someday maybe ![]() I'd steal design ideas though. lol just put it together like a tank. 4bigbuds, is it a little wobbly when turning? or is the bottom heavy enough to compensate? sure would have to be a heavy bottom...trim trim -Matt Last edited by mattdreads; 12-16-2008 at 09:59 AM..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | the way I trim (on the couch, with trash bags on the floor, rubbermaid tub on each side of me) it would work fine for me because it would be sitting on my lap. I could lean forward, grab fresh buds, turn it, throw trimmed buds to the other side of me, then grab more from the first bin.
