  | I checked my trichomes again tonight, all cloudy and only about 30% amber if I look at the top bud/leaves. The lower stuff is a little more but still the majority is cloudy. This plant is a little weird, I got to looking and the rest of my flowering plants are just exploding with thick bud as you would expect from something named "Big Bud" but this plant thats closer to harvest has much smaller bud. One of my plants is smaller and about 2 to 3 weeks behind in flowering and the bud is twice the size, even my midget clone has thicker bud.. and it's all the same strain  I'm not gonna worry about harvesting until after christmas then I'll make a decision. I did however purchase a dehumidifier for my harvesting area and some clothes pins so everything is in place for whenever I chop chop. Thanks guys. Merry Christmas

| glad to see I'm not the only one that can't stay away from this site even on christmas  wow this is going to put me at over 10 weeks when I harvest. my others are already at 8 weeks and look to be 3 weeks away from harvesting as well. crazy stuff. Well Merry Christmas Everyone

| so it was weird enough asking a family member for canning jars (mason jars).. and telling them they were for "nic nacs" it was even weirder opening it infront of everyone and seeing all their faces wondering if it was a prank or that I had opened my grandmothers gift or something anywho, I'm all set up for harvest/curing. I did a flush again tonight and tomorrow when I water everyone else I'll check the trichomes again. I'm pretty sure I'm going to harvest the beginning of next week... only because if I don't start flowering some of my babes now I'm going to be growing late into march/early april and I don't really want to do that. However I seem to keep saying I'm going to harvest then I check the trichomes and change my mind what you gonna do. well I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, hope to hear from you guys

| I wanted to show you guys something, both of these plants were grown (from seed) at the same exact time, same size pots, same everything. Only one flowered earlier than the other: This is the bud on the plant I'm harvesting next week.  this is the bud on the other that is still a good 2 if not 3 weeks from being ready:   the bud is 2x the size!  oh well... what you gonna do checked the trich's again tonight, def more amber this time. But it's still not 50/50. When you guys check your trichs do you look at the bud or the leaves??

| Me personally i check majority of the bud tops and sides, but i also check the sugar leaves but i go by the buds more than i do the leaves  Moe
