well this hobby of ours is always personal preference from lights to nutes to harvest for each his own ya kno some like uppy some like downer some like in between. you just gotta find ur sweet spot of what u like and get to know ur strains...practice makes perfect. you can always go by breeder specs or use there timelines like a guide line for ur current grow then next time u can dial it in better for what ur looking for well thats myu van also pluck a lil bud dry it and smoke test it to see if its just where ya want it. hopefully i made sense take it easy man

yeah that makes sense. If I went by breed specs then I should of harvested last week It's hard for me to really label the high I'm looking for..

I smoked some stuff a while back that hit me like a train and I've wanted that ever since, I was at a party that night and people would be talking to me and I would drift in and out of the conversation and not realize I was doing it. People would come up and talk to me and I would miss a whole conversation because I went off in my own little world. That was fun for me what would you define that as? I didn't feel really lazy I more or less just felt like I was on a cloud.

and at the same time I have really bad problems sleeping and started smoking for the purpose of being able to sleep, so thats why I said couchlock. but maybe I could harvest another plant later in the flowering cycle to benefit the more sleepy type high.

well the 3 strains i have right now 2 are hard hitters. the Violator Kush is POTENT and u dont need much of it to get where ya want to go and the Bubbleliciouse hits ahrd to. ive experienced more of a trip like high on this one and i liked it. if sleep is what u want then id go ahead and get u indica dom. strain with all the characteristics of the indicas maybe u might want to look into some kush strains and for a trip type high as u described u might wanna check out Barneys Farms Red Deisel breeder is pretty accurate on his strains and the description is something along the lines of what u speak

Hey who says the have to turn AMBER...most times they don't....Instead I just look for cloudy tricks'...if I get amber than that's usually a bonus but it doesn't happen all the time.

really? well I have cloudy trichs but I have 40% amber on the leaves and only a handful on the buds. I know I have a few more days minimum to go.. I guess I'm just getting impatient. however I'm busy this weekend so it should keep my mind off of it

Have you tested it to see if you get the high you are looking for. I want the melting into the furniture stone. Something close to what cheech had while parked in Up In Smoke. They were also pretty wasted in Nice Dreams too, but i don't want to turn into a lizzard. That's the last thing I need.

ok so tonight I checked the trichomes and we're at about 50/50 in *most* areas of the plant. In others we're at like 20% to 30%. I have a lot of lower popcorn bud growing on this plant, is it possible to harvest the top of the plant and leave the bottom popcorn stuff to let grow more? or would this stress the plant out too much where it wouldn't make a difference?

My last crop i harvested the tops first and waited a week and harvested the rest,,, i dont know if it stresses the plant , but the lower popcorn on mine filled out really nice..
