![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yeah im only workin with about 11hrs of direct light right now. i checked like three lil leaflets from different sides of the plant today and i only saw one or two clear trichs, it was all cloudy with only a few amber. im gonna see what she looks like on new years and it may be chop time. id rather it be a lil fresh than risk overdone. depending on what it looks like i may let it go another week.

Its true, trichs will actually turn black but before that happens your tricks will be like 90% amber. You have a long way to go till that happens because by that time the plant actually begins to die. | |||

well heres some pics of the buds before they go into the jar. when i trimmed i did a wet trim of all the bigger fan leaves and trichless leaves. then i trimmed the tips of the sweet leafs with nothin on em(sacrificing a tiny bit of trichs, but its ok) then just hung it upside down and let the leaves wrap around the buds. they dried for about 6 days in a box i made and used for the last crop. i had a fan on low right outside the box just to keep the air fresh and cool. theyre pretty dry but still just a tad fresh in the middle. overall im satisfied with the way the buds turned out, i got good reveiws last night as i tested it out on a few people. ive paid good money for buds that looked just like these but with a more distinct high. it has a distinct citrussy smell and taste to it. almost like a pineapple tangerine, if you can imagine the two together. its not anywhere near as harsh as i thought it would be with the short dry and early cut. there is a lil cough to it but only on a deep hit. the high itself isnt too intense. you can definitely feel it, although its more of a mental/inspirational high than a body high. after two small bowl in the pipe i could feel it in my eyes, my friend calls it "pillow eyes". the two bowls had me nice n high for about an hour before i felt the need to take another hit or two. i think the next part of the crop will be a lil heavier hitting being as i let it go a lil farther. heres the pics, enjoi. cause i am. ![]() oh yeah, the weight so far of just the buds in the picture, is 7.8. i know ill lose a bit more as they dry completely but ill prolly have ended up with a lil less than a sac. thats cool with me seein as how theres another ten branches like those on the plant so im fully confident ill end up with about 1 1/2-2 zips. thanks surfbum
