ok, so its started to eat itself...

hey all, just tryin to get some input.

so i started my flush on the 19th, checking under the scope the trichs were about 75 cloudy 20 clear and a few amber. im looking for an in between buzz, not too uppity and not too couched out. just enough to slow my brain to concentrate fully but not stop me from wantin to do anything. ive flushed it out about four times with just letting the hose run in the pot and let it run out the bottom for about 5 mins.

my question is. my girl has started to eat herself. there is some definite light yellowing happening throughout the plant. now does this mean that there are no more nutes in the soil at all since she is cannaballizing?(sp?) im wondering because i want to take just one branch and snip it to dry n dry it out for new years. just a lil tester bud. im wondering with just the light yellowing goin down if theres still too much in the soil to get a smooth smoke with the 6 day dry? im going to let the rest of the plant go the full length which will probably be cut around the first depending on how far shes gotten then put in the dryer.

thanks for the help

I would chop it. It is still gonna be harsh because the chlorophyll is still there but it will still do the trick though!

You are correct. This is perfectly natural. You should consider cutting her down, the more amber the more couch lock.

When shes alive plant uses it for photosynthesis and when you're curing it breaks down into sugars.

ok so thanks for the replies. i did chop two small branches that night, but im lettin the rest go till ner years eve and im gonna chop the rest of it.

my whole thing with askin was just to find out if, trich color aside, it made a difference on doneness with how much shes eaten herself. but i figured to just go with trich development instead of worrying about the yellowing. with not letting it fully yellow i just need to dry n cure a tad bit longer to get all the chlorophyll out right?

heres some pics. the first three are the buds i chopped. then one of the whole plant from today. the top in the last pic is the middle one at the very top in the pic of the whole thing.

thanks

I don't know dude it looks like it could use some more time to me. I have no idea how much light you're using so it could be as good as it gets for you, but to me shes just beggining to fatten up nicely.
