 | I agree with going by the trichomes.  I prefer my trichs all cloudy. If you don't have one, get Illuminated Microscope - RadioShack.com Be sure to click on the link "find it near you" because not all stores carry them. Snip a sweet leaf and put it on a table on a white piece of paper to look at it. Some can look while the leaves are on the plants, my hands are not steady enough.
