![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | copied and pasted drying is a touchy process for me, I have a lot of trouble drying properly in the summer... My optimal drying temp's are mid 60's or 70's with about 40-65% RH depending on how far into drying I am, how dense the bud is etc. I tend to start the plants off a bit higher RH, then crank the dehumidifier down to 40% for a few days or more, once everything is dry to the touch and the danger of mold has passed I let the dehumidifier up to about 50-60% or so... I hate it when everything dries too fast or too much and gets all crispy. I'd rather risk getting a tiny bit of mold and let my stuff dry slower and cure a little "on the line". I always do a dry trim, hanging plants in their entirety, I like to let them dry as slow as possible. If the bud is really dense however, or the plants are really dense I'll chop off the bigger branches and hang them separately to prevent mold and provide better airflow. Occationaly I get a touch of mold, but its no matter... Usually only happens when I'm learning how to dry a new strain or something, Every strain is different. I have a 980 CFM blower with a can 100 carbon scrubber scrubbing the room, and an internal circulation fan as well so theres plenty of air movement. I say more air movement is better than super low humidity. I've tried using an air conditioner to dry my buds in the summer but that was a total failure. It dried them way too fast. I'd much rather have it a bit warmer temps and slightly higher RH than have colder temps and a lower RH

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i wouldnt recommend raising humidity if it wasnt already drying to fast ![]() but if you want it to dry as slow as possible....................................... 55% is on the high end and in many cases might be a problem depending on how dense your buds are ![]()
