Just tried bread last night... 1 OZ Blueberry (crispy and brittle on outside,a lil better on the inside- burning very fast in J) added 1/2 a slice of wonder bread tore into 2 pieces, stuck 1 on bottom of jar, 1 in middle. Closed lid. Woke up this morning, removed bread, had spongy buds Rolled one, it did not crumble, burnt very slow and smooth and tasted... WONDERful!

I have a lot of trouble with this when the midwinter crop comes in. The humidity level drops so low here, that the bud will sometimes just powder if I'm not watching it carefully. I have my bud stored in Planters peanuts cans and ziplocs.
I've learned this trick: take the bag into a cold room for a few minutes, or even set it outside. Wait five minutes, go out there and breathe in and out of the bag for 5-10 breaths; inflate it like a balloon. Then shake the bag to coat the weed with the moisture from your lungs. Squeeze all the air out and inflate it a few more times; then vacuum seal it (with practice, you can take all the air out of a ziploc through a small gap, just draw it out).

I have lots of bud this year that would have been dust by now.

I just had to rehydrate a half p. the other day and put in 2 corn tortillas and left them over night. Next morning they were all pretty much hydrated throughout the whole bag, sucks still got a lot of shake tho

This is more acceptable to me than the bread or orange peels. The only problem I see is that plants transpire wastes through their leaf pores, Im not quite sure if this would affect it.

Probably doesn't, so sounds legit.

If the bread thing works than thats cool, I do know that the citric acid from orange peels gets into the buds, it really actually makes it burn harsher.

I remember when I was younger my friend's aunt used lettuce leaves in a tupperware container full of buds, like a big container with buds on one side, leaves on other, they don't touch ...she swore by it. She didn't have to do it often though.

Edit: butter lettuce like the ones still alive in their container

If I have overdried buds, during curing i just use a little paper towel moistedn with water...leave in the jar overnite, then burp the next day...once the buds remoisten the paper towel comes out....

I would never add anything organic, bread, orange peel etc...as it could encourage molds or bacterias that are in the item
