![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Actually...I have a question (don't mean to be hijacking, promise!) I know that two or three weeks can make a difference (of course) but what about two or three days. In other words, I will more than likely be harvesting by Sunday. Will there be any noticeable difference in amount or maturity if I harvest today, for instance, or on Saturday or Sunday?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I hate to not answer your hijacking question, but I gotta add that I recently harvest some plants at 53 days that I was normaly harvesting at 70 or 75 days... I could not tell the difference in the schmoooke. Maybe it's limited to this strain(Purple Kush) or maybe I'm not a very good judge as the consensus here at GCC is to letem go as long as possible Again I'm sorry not to answer Mayan, please, carry on.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's very interesting CT...thanks! Yeah, trichs have been mostly cloudy for a week or two...which is fine for me, so I can't imagine that a couple of days here or there would be a great deal of difference in potency OR weight. And it is slightly rhetorical, given my arbitrary deadline of everything out and trimmed by Monday am...still, it's useful to find out what others' experiences have been, if only for later grows (and for others who may be faced with similar harvesting issues).

Thanks for the warm welcome to GC and thanks for all the advice guys! I will leave her be for another few weeks and see what happens! Ill start flushing on monday and continue for 2 weeks then harvest! I have no clue as to what strain she is, a friend of mine came up from florida with some pretty good stuff, so I robbed a few seeds and decided to see what It would do.. Luckily it paid off because now I have a pretty sweet lookin 4 foot bush now! My 2nd grow just sprouted, I picked up some feminized skunk seeds from a guy locally, so I am anxious to see how well I can apply my newly found knowledge on round 2! My grow cab is very simple and low budget. I only started this project just to see if I could get a female to grow, with very low expectations of yield or quality. I had no set goal. It was more of a spur the moment " Oh, what the hell. I might as well try to grow some" kind of deal. But, once she started taking off, I got a lot more serious about how I treated her and what I put in to her. She is just growing in a closet, 2ft. wide by 3ft. deep and 7ft. high With tin foil on 3 sides to reflect the lights, and all I have used on this plant since it was born was 4 of those wally world 42 watt CFL (150 watt equiv.) bulbs. Soil, I picked up at the local hardware store and the only nutes I have given it is a small amount of MG plant food. I know there are a lot of things I can improve on the next round, so I am anxious to see how much more of a yield I get with better seeds, soil, nutes, and lights! The sky's the limit! I do have another question though... I just gave her a good shot of plain H20 and noticed that the large bud on the top of the plant seems to be pushing out a lot more leaves than it has been. the bud seems to be getting bigger still, but it almost looks like its trying to re-veg...Do they usually continue to grow small fan leaves from the bud even while flowering? Thanks to all! OnE51 | ||

So basically I personally like harvesting early week seven... or earlier if the amber comes on quicker. I really want to get some sativas going, I think they would suit my taste better...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I harvest my morning glory without any amber trichs. There are even some clear left. The high I get is a cerebral, soaring creeper. I love it. I will eventually go into amber to see what it's like. Good luck.

Just say no to couch lock ![]() And as far as lady Sativa I'm setting up a cab big enough for one plant to put in the room with my perpetual setup. I'm gonna put an expensive sativa in there and then just "set it and forget it" with all the transplants and feedings of course...
