![]() | Hah yea... if I end up having to use a icepick to get the stuff out of the freezer I think I may be doing it wrong. ![]() Been reading some more and apparently a dark cool corner of the basement is ok for up to 12 months (sealed mason jars). But one guide I found (will post link if I manage to find the page again... My computer lives a life of its own it would seem) mentioned that with about 6 months of drying/curing and propper storage in a fridge the bud can be good for up to 4 years!!! Not that I think I'll need to store anything past 16 months, but hey, all knowledge is good knowledge. // Theo

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | proper storage imo is just like wine barrles. i have a sink in my basement. i remember when i was around 14, i put my outdoor harvest underneath it, in the cabnit. i must of knocked a jar over, and it rolled on its side and got hidden. well, i found that when i was id say almost 17. i knew right away what it was from, as ive never kept any other weed there before. i opended it up and i was basically foaming out the mouth. the smell would make you seem high alone almost. lets just say that jar went by quik. some of the best tasting pot i think ill ever have. that is untill i get a 3 year cure on some blueberry grown with organics. haha, fuck yeah. sorry, im very high. i feel like im just rambleing along. i just dont want to stop. its like, i just hit the most sativa part of this plant and im close to tripping. gotta love mary...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I agree 100% with Illegal-Seed...it is like fine wine...I open a jar that has been sealed for 10 months and the odor blows me away...and the buds look better than when i stored them....I have to beleive that good glass storage bottles, sealed and stored correctly with a steady environment, dark and cool....however...hard to say as to whether or not say in two years, you should "burp" them let them have some fresh aire and then repack and seal them? I will let you know in 4 years...I also know mine will get opened to sample various varieties... ![]() My plan is to continue to accumulate various 1 gallon jars of my finest and varied strains, and store for long term... I have no doubts that 4 years is possible. Just imagine choosing from a wide range of cured, fermented and aged bud.... awesome....also eliminates the issue of tolerance...you know when you get too used to one strain...This year I have 13 different varieties in my outdoor grow.Mayan, several manufacturers have small electric vacuum sealers, and most have a hose attachment and lid plate to fid the widemouth jars so you can seal up you goodies. Most have 2 different sizes of lid adapters so you want to be sure that you get your jars in the right size opening. I got mine for 69.95 Cdn at Walmart, came with the 2 adapters + we used it for freezing our game and fish...but I really bought it for the buds ![]()
