anyone flush using "sweet"?
permalink

In the process of flushing my first soil grow and noticed the process takes much more time than hydro. When I'd start flushing with ebb and flow it only took what seemed like hours to see the effects but its been 4 days since first big flush and everything is still green.

I used Botanicare PBP in Pro Mix HP soil with Liquid Karma and Sweet during flower. After the first flush I gave them a little LQ and Sweet. I plan to flush again tonight and will stop the LQ but I'm wondering if I should keep adding the Sweet for the last 7-10 days?

Has anyone used this product to the end to see if there is any pos/neg effect on taste?

I grow hydro, so this may not apply.

I have used Sweet throughout flush and I really can't tell if it makes a difference. Frankly, I'm using it because I've got it, but probably won't buy anymore.

Well, last grow I used all of what you have except for Sweet... instead I just used blackstrap molasses. same principal, way cheaper.

I have green leaves on some of the stuff I'm smoking right now. It's been curing for six months. Although it is green... the smoke is very light with a definite sweet aftertaste.

Keep using the Sweet... I'd use it up till the last watering.

thanks for the replies.

I've heard a lot of people say you don't really need to flush organics. Some say you can get some salts out but the organisms will continue to thrive.

Anyone not flush when using PBP? Or when you flush the PBP, do you get lots of yellow leaves?

I'm trying to get away with less flushing because these are finishing much faster than I thought. Already about 5% clear, 80% cloudy and 15% amber on day 53 and last time in hydro I went 66 days to get about 20% amber. Last time was from seed too so maybe that's the reason for shorter flower time. Unless adding a MH to the flower room had something to do with it.

I just started using the stuff cause I'm in transition and it says it helps boost sulfur levels just that tad little bit...I will be watching this thread for sure...I've used molasses in the past but this little bottle of Sweet came with my Cal/Mag and I'm determined to figure out just what it will do...
