![]() | I am not sure u can speed it up but why don't u get another timer and let them continue 12/12 while u go away? Also more darkness don't think it helps since they grow by photosynthesis. Good luck and all the best

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I had already dropped to 11 and a half but am going 11 tonight. I have been chopping out anything that is not going to grow into a good bud, putting all plants energy into tops. I have removed all dead, old and bug damaged leaves. good luck. nigel

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There is a lot of people here that use this kind of tricks. Just put it on 11/13 and you can also cut the low "zero-potential" branches as nigel already said. By cutting the day by one hour and adding one to night time we foul the plant in to believing that the winter is getting nearer and so she finishes faster... ![]() - Gr0

You can't speed them up with if you run a 24 hour day. You have to get a timer that shortens the day period, you need the 12 hours of dark, don't mess with that 12/12 making it 13/11 or whatever either way, not gonna speed them up. You need to take a couple hours out of each day for the plant, and that has to be done during the light period. So you get 12 hours of darkness and only 9-10 hours of light each day, so now you have a 21-22 hour day, and that will speed them up for you. They make special timers to do this, but expensive. Happy Growing Alleycat You guys are barking up the wrong tree trying to speed them up messing with only the 24 hour day period, need to make a shorter day for your plants and that will speed them up for you.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good morning, Every time you cut a branch or remove a leaf from a flowering plant your stalling growth of the plant by as little as a day as much as several days.. If you want it to mature faster, i'd think the last thing you'd wanna do is stall growth by trimming.. ![]() I don't trim unless a leaf is blocking growth below it. Good luck don

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | your contention Alleycat being that 12 hours of darkness is essential? What is the logic please. The sequence of lights on, off; would be 12 hours off, 9-10 hours on, 12 hours off? You could concievably do it with one timer, by running the program over a week; but you would have to possibly reprogram every 5 days to accomodate the 'day you are making dissapear. My logic is as follows. It is currently winter here, daylength is under 11 hours. i am just imitating the end of the season; where most of the filling out normally occurs. With that, is the fact that most of the strains i am growing, are based on outdoors stock; used to this lighting scenario. got to try these things lol, but i will definitely take your thoughts on board, thanks nigel

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | only talking about trimming out rubbish to lighten the load. You leave it on while it is contributing to growth, but take it off when it starts to compete with the tops. Your right, doing it too early will detract from overall growth, but once the structure is there and the stretching is done; there is only room and resources for the best buds, excess popcorn and old stale leaves slows it all down.? best wishes nigel

the first three are of the AMS, the other two are of CHOCOLOPE, both in week 5....these two might beat the MK ULTRA. the buds on both are ten times better than the MK, that poor gal got all of my first timer mistakes.
