Get them removed! I am 51 and had both cataracts removed last December (2 weeks apart). That was the least painful (zero pain) operation I have ever had. The difference was incredible - you can really tell when one cataract is removed and the other isn't!

I was waiting for your input on that one, bluecheese. Ette had cataracts removed from both eyes at the tender age of 55. "She can see clearly now the gray is gone...."

Im pretty sure I saw amber trichs.I had to look using the 1000 watt hps, cause all my other household lights weren't powerful enough to get a decent look.
Hey Matt,

You can pick these up at Radio Shack for less than 20 bucks

How did the webcam work
permalink

Hey Jolly John

How did the webcam work? I like the idea of the microscope...I use a handheld 30 to 100x and it is great but would love to see greater detail thats for sure....get some excellent pics too

Matt if you get one let us know how it works...

So Jolly is it harvest time?....I assume you have found info on reading the trichs to correlate with the type of high you want...?

Good Luck

Are you refering to the eyepeice it self? or the full self stand scope?
if your looking for the eyepeice Rutlandtool.com has them
Search "loupe" there realy nice, i use them in my machineshop and to look at the trichromes, i have a 7X and its hard to see plants with smaller tri's, i would go with the 10X.
for the price of anything more powerfull you might as well go with a stand up microscope
