Slight unforseen problem! Trichomes pistills etc!

Coming to the end of my first grow! being partially sighted, can see pistills changing colour, have got hold of small microscope since joining this site to observe the trichomes but simply cant see! Is it right that you can time harvest by pistills alone? Had lots of help from you guys in the past, nearly there now! Got three varieties on the go one at least is nearly ready,I'm hoping so I could do with more room for my Big bud monsters!

Try clipping a few of the tiny "sugar leaves", a small bit is all that you need. Then take those random snippets of leaf to a clean white sheet of paper. Now use your microscope. It is nearly impossible to get a good view when the leaves are on the vine.

Or you could get a USB microscope. I've seen them on Ebay for like 50-60 bucks. Then you can actually see the magnified image on your computer monitor instead of through a tiny eyepiece. Hell, I have full sight and it's sometimes hard for me to see through the scope.

Here's a link to a bunch of different USB scopes on ebay: USB Microscopes

Thats exactly what I did. I need to get a scope, but still can't find a place that sells them locally.
Im pretty sure I saw amber trichs.I had to look using the 1000 watt hps, cause all my other household lights weren't powerful enough to get a decent look.

Hee hee! Thanks for that.Yes I'm well impressed by the curvy figure of the Big Bud girls! Even a blind bugger like me can see them waving at me from the back of the room!
