Finish at 42 days? is this possible
permalink

I have a shiskaberry x skunk#1 plant that appears to be showing amber trichome heads at day 42 of flower. I have read somewhere that shiskaberry x shiskaberry flowers in 42 days, but that seems very short for a non autoflower strain.Should i go by my microscope and chop her or leave her longer. The fan leaves have turned almost fully yellow.

Thanks for any advice

Some, well very few strains finish in the 40-50 day range. I'd go by the trichomes. They never lie.

if you rub some trichs.........
permalink

say with your fingers that could turn those amber cause oxidation..........wich has nothing to do with ripe, or proper amber trichs due to maturity..........

just something to consider

edit: though if trichs keep turning amber (due to getting ripe) get ready to chop.......

happy harvest

Bummer someone has not commected if it's spelt right. Hmm who produces shiskaberry?

I have read about forceing strains to produce quicker, & can't give reliable info on the percise methods because I have no experience do'n it, but I can share a vague recollection on how to hurry production.

The process involves a short period of veg'n (somewhere around 2-4 weeks depending on which strain is used & also on a growers preference). Then the plant is quickly given high levels of phosphorus nutes & introduced to lighting that is good for blooming that strain.

If I were to do that method my main decision of when to harvest would be like any other 420 grow. I would get my scope & look to see if the trichomes are ready.

If you are asking if Shiska can be harvested in less than a month, I am pretty sure it would not smoke as well with such a quick grow...that's assuming you did NOT go with the rush type method.

I wish I could remember the spelling & breeder.

why is it not possible?

I suggest you check your eyes ... and the trichs again.

just to double check

don't see why it's not possible.
