I have to chop- TONIGHT.

The landlord is starting their rental license re-application process w/ inspections and all that great shit.

tomorrow.

Normally I wouldn't have too much of a problem chopping early- if I had a spot to dry them.
Which is reallly really out of the question. they are at a late 7 wks...no flush though....and they dont stink too bad...

I plan on chopping it down, packing into a 21 gallon tote and delivering to a trusted person's house for safe keeping.

My question is, How should I pack them (the buds) into the totes so as to not smell too bad and still avoid mold and dry a tad? hang them loose apart? or pack with paper towels?Any other ways maybe someone has dealt with this.?

The inspection cycle is going til sept 3.
once they dry I will pack in jars and crate them and itll all be good...hopefully in a week or so

Yikes folks.

I would make sure there is air movement during drying, curing.

I wouldn't worry about how I pack and move so much as how I'm going to dry and cure at another ones house

If you're set on the rubbermaid tote. I would layer w/ paper bag. bag, buds, bag, up to the top of the tote. I wouldn't cut off the buds from the stem. That way you can hang em when you get to your temp place.

I don't think it would be very good to leave everything in that tote

I know the tote is just about the worst possible thing, but I don't know I have too much else a choice, have to make the temporary host comfortable too, hoping I can talk him into letting me hang, but I'm not gonna push it.

IMO your bud will grow mold in the tote.

what about using cardboard boxes with hangers or dowel rods to hang inside?

Took care of it all folks. Thanks for your input.
ended up taking it to a friend's house to hang up and dry.
Not exactly the outcome I had hoped for, but its better than the tote.
