yeild at 12"

I've looked around and it has been said that flowering can be forced when the plant reaches around 12". if I were to do that, I know the yeild would be quite small in comparison to if i were to let it grow. Does anyone know what the yeild would turn out to be for a 12" plant? thanx a ton...all comments are welcomed.
