ok this is what im going to do..... hang it upside down in my closet for a week..... thern buds in a paper bag 1-2 weeks. after that into a container. but my question is.. dont i have to trim off the Leaf looking things on the bud? if so when do i do this?

I do believe that is called "manicuring the buds" You do that to get rid of that grassy taste if your picky over your stash. But you don't have to do it. I would also guess that you would do this procedure once your bud is picked.

I have read a post here where someone suggested to manicuce the plant as soon as you take her out. The reasoning was that it was easier to manicure the stems were soft.

it is easier softer.... i cut all the leaves and everything right before i pulled my plants... sooo much easier and faster

Joe do you cure them once you have them manicured or do you dry and smoke? I usually manicure then dry and smoke but I was thinking that I would like to try to cure some bud. Can you share your method if you combine the best of both worlds

well what i didwas just kept pickin buds andwhen it got to where i finally liked it, i clipped off ALL the leaves leaving just branches and buds.. then cut it down hung it in my closet for about 4 to6 days. then took it out and put it all in tupaware... its verrrry simple... this was my first harvest and nothin at all went wrong and the bud is extremely good... well goodluck with you and your buds
