Sealing buds in cellophane ?
permalink

Hi (high?) fellow MJ lovers. A fews years ago, while on my honeymoon in Hawaii, I purchased some Maui Wowie buds from a dude I met on the Road to Hanna. This stuff was, without a doubt, the best smoke I've ever had in my entire life !!! Each bud was sealed in little cellophone sleaves, about 3" long by 1" wide, and appeared to be flattened out and all the air removed before sealing. Has anyone else ever seen this or tried this method as a way of preserving small quanities of high quality buds? It seemed like a good idea in general, since each bud is individually sealed they should keep fresh longer, minimize mold, etc. Not sure if this is a good idea or not , where to get the cellophane and sealing equipment, etc. Throwing it out to the experts . Thanks in advance.

They probably used one of those kitchen vacuum sealers. They're not too expensive, and do work.

If the bud were properly dried and cured first, the bags would be a good storage spot (personally, if I had a bunch of 'em, I'd pop them into the fridge as well). However, a ziplock freezer bag would work just about as well...
