very good question!

I was wondering exactly the same thing. I have a few plants which I would like to try this on, but before doing so I would like to know if doing this would not allow the plants to reach full potency potential, and what the differences would be between harvesting now or when the pistals turn. Thanks alot QP for starting the thread and take it easy.

Wink well...s'alright; I kind of like the high~

Outdoor harvest came in a bit early last year (see thread in sig line). The high was very up; thc predominant, no real detectable sleepy, drooliness at all from elevated cbd's or cbn's. I like it because I get really baked, but can still rake, haul, dig, etc.

I harvested the top cola of a Sativa dominant plant when the hairs were still white. Nothing but that "I'm almost high" feeling.

i figured something like that i was just wondering if anyone had the guts to try it so i didnt have to

i dunno what the deal is but i had 2 plants that i had started a 12/12 on dec 12th.. one of the plants has already been harvested and smoked ( HAHA) and the other just keeps getting bigger.. has some red hairs.. but only like 5 - 10 %.. its a very odd lookin plant. also the top cole keeps growing these weird leaves.. rounder in shape.. and all singles no fingers.. keeps growing taller on top
