Hi, i've recently havested my crop
however i've run ito the problem of mold. It's now pretty much dry but theres still quite a bit of mold. Is there anyway to get rid of it? I've given it a blast in the microwave. I know it's bad for the potency but i could think of nothing else. Are the buds safe to use in cooking if i can't smoke it.

I had this same problem, mind you i still smoked about 1oz of it anyways, but had a lot left over, i used about 1/4 oz of bud and made almost 1G of the best hash i have ever had! Check the "Recycling" forum for instructions on this.

If anyone knows a reason not to, please speak up! but i figure that by making water hash all the mold disipates into the water and when you coffee filter, dry, and kneed the resin in your hand for 10 minutes until you are left with only resin, it should be safe!

I was thinking of the same sorta thing, but i wasn't sure if it would be worth it. How much bud did u put in to make the 1/4oz?

All you're doing is mixing the mold into the rest of the plant matter. You'll still end up smoking mold and taking the risk of respiratory damage.

Well, if the mold is in the plant matter, that's cool, all you collect with water hash are the resin glands. With Kif however, you would still have mold seeping thru the seaving screen... ... ...

But i'm no doctor!
