Well I have smoked for a few years, but never had my own stash. So one of my friends just harvested and sent me a bag with dried plant (leaf, stem, buds all attached) in it. Now (feeling stupid for asking)  so what is the best way to go about getting it ready to pack in a bowl? Of course, wanting the best effect possible. Thank you! | ||

| This is the right place mellow. Best to just hang it by the stem in a cool dark spot with a fan blowing the air around the branch. I let mine dry as is at least 3 days before I remove any fan leaves. Some folks trim leaves when they are wet. I prefer to let mine dry so I can snap them by hand. Once the fan leaves a re removed I have exposed buds and sweet leaves left on the stem. Then it is another 3-4 days of drying in the closet time. Check out my journal links and I know you'll come across some pictures off plants hanging. Then I pluck those dried buds off of the stem and snap off any extra long sweet leaves. Then I put the buds into a Mason jar and close the lid on it and put it in a dark cool closet. It really tastes and behaves differently after curing in the jar for about 3 weeks.
