Yeah I have seen these buds with my own eye with my last grow. I left the seeds to finish about 2 weeks longer then the rest of the buds. I can tell you its looked like a regular bud but most all the hairs were dead and turning orange. It looked like it had an amber tint to the whole bud. Its smoked way less potent also. I'll be on the look out for that pic and will add when I find it if I do.

On the lower branches most are cloudy and maybe 1-2 brown/sq. inch. Should I her another day or two? This snuck up on me and I only flushed yesterday ![]()

![]() ![]() | Great Thread GPB. Very informative. It deserved the Sticky! I do have a question though... I am way away from a harvest, however, in anticipation of such a day here we go.... Let's say that some buds are ready to be cut, as per your description. I am assuming they will be the ones on top. Now, lets cut them and any others that seem ready to cure. The ones on the lower ends of the stem are not really ready to be cut. Not yet cloudy or amber. Is it possible to say, in maybe layman's terms, top the plant right below your last bud that is ready, and let the rest of it keep growing until the lower buds catch up and become ready? Don't flame, please. Never harvested a bud before, but like I said I am anticipating. Hopefully what I wanted to ask and what I am asking are the same! A little burnt right now. Thanks, NM

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Dude this is my first grow too AwesomeThat's what I might do with Bad Rudie. I'll cut off the branches and keep the remnents under 12/12 for a week to let the rest mature. I'll cut the rest and trim the rootball down to about a 3rd and give her some 20/4 Last edited by Fillabong; 12-21-2004 at 09:06 PM..

![]() ![]() | Filla... Thanks for the reply. Please, tell me how this works out for you, being that you will probably be harvesting your grow before mine. I would really like to know if this "theory" is will hold water. NM

I know it's been said already... repeatedly, But I just had to say that this is an excellent post all of just the right info illustrated to perfection, right down to the best magnifying scope to view with. I'm sure this will help alot of people out, at leasst those with the sense to seek out the info that they need. I been growin for a while now, but I'm pretty new to this forum and I gotta say I love it here. Alot of excellent information for those from beginning to advanced.
