haha ok my cosin grows a ****load of weed and he gave me some stuff he said he dried on orange peels and it really did taste orange. Id like to hear if someone else has tried this and how it turns out.

I think you might be a bit confused about why one might add orange peels to their stash. Orange peels retain quite a bit of water/moisture after peeled of the fruit. When placed in an exclosure with cannabis, the moisture is thus transferred to the bud changing dry crumbly bud to the moist/dank bud that some enjoy.


I have done this in the past and do not recommend this process because orange peels are way too wet and can be a recipe for mold.

Oh yeah, and it doesnt make the bud taste liike oranges. You might have had some bud that had a citrus taste to begin with . But I can say without a doubt that orange peels dont make bud taste like oranges......

Fruit peels emit ethylene gas which is helps with bud development during flowering and curing after harvest. The orangy taste/smell is really a by-product, not the main reason this is done. Banana peels will also do this. You do run risks, though - mold is a definite problem. Use with caution.
