Cool and dry is ideal but warm and humid is reality in the Northern Hemisphere these days. Keep the air flowing regardless of temp and humidity for best results.

Keep it dry with whatever fits your budget, .... container of DampRid, dehumidifier, etc. Keep it cool with whatever fits your budget, .... A/C, fan, etc. But definitely keep that air moving with a fan regardless of you RH and temp.

Air movement....use a fan. I'm guessing that you don't have a good environmental control (i.e. air conditioning).

I hang mine in the coolest part of the house with a decent breeze from a fan on them. No direct light, but not total darkness. Never had an issue with mold.

Cutting the buds from the main stem and trimming them, then drying them seperately, will help the buds to dry quicker.

I can usually have them dried in 4/5 days this way. I've hung full plants up before, and it has taken up to two and a half weeks to dry (which is fine if you don't have any humidity issues).

If the fans aren't enough, get yourself a bag of Calcium Chloride at the Agway store. Put a pan or large bowl of it in your grow area with a fan. This will draw all the humidity out of the air and your buds. worked for me when I lived on the beach and it was humid all the time. If you want proof let me know and I can dig up my thread on the topic (with pics!) BTW Damprid is nothing more than a pelletized version of calcium chloride, which you can get at agway for $12 for a 40# bag (instead of $5 for a 3# bag at the hardware store)
