![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm trying it as we speak, about a z fresh plucked, probably ~1/4 dry(I expect). It's not my thread but I don't care to go into as much detail as GardenTHIS did, and well, we need closure. ![]() I'll post up my results in a week and a half or so, or whenever I get around to it. Hopefully, I'll get nice and toasted ![]() There was a thread on OG, can't remember who, but their handle had something to do with the Buccaneers(NFL). ...I think....Anyhow, it was reported successful, so I'm not too nervous about it.... I'll let you know.

![]() personally i have seen enough evidence for this method of cleaning crap buds to be taken out of conjecture and into the realm of fact. but being home growers, it seems this method may only be viable if you dont do a proper job slow drying and curing, as could be the case if a security breach occurs. but eh... i wanna see a complete guide for this. up for the challenge BBL?

I just want to say, if it hasn't been said; The turpenes which give your pot its flavor are water soluable. So logic suggests you will lose flavor doing this. Kind of the same way ice hash loses flavor. Peace

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | long ago and far away i read a WC guide thet wuz done by MPD. I did about a 1/2 lb of jock horror thet had a taint of mold. i ended up with just over 1/4# of finished product. very smooth, very dark, very potent. i also had sum jock thet wuz cured traditonally. 2 equal size doobs of each gave the impression the WC wuz more potent. this is a cure for personal stash, not for sale. water cure has no smell to speak of, absolutely not harsh, no taste but the buzz is grate! ![]()

![]() | An advantage to the water cure is the reduction of actual smoke a person inhales. Often people tell me its the aroma, taste, and over all appeal of the plant that attracts them to smoking this wonderful plant. To be honest, with me its the HIGH. I agree that I would rather smoke something with a fruity flavor over something that is harsh and chemical tasting. Unfortunatly not all of us are put on the earth with wonderfull healthy lungs. As I have stated before, airborne sprays and smoke in general bother me. I have vaporized for years, and have mastered it. I experimented with water curing recently and have to say that any time I can reduce the plant matter and keep the THC levels high, I'm happy. With all of this said people who are concerned about the damaging effects of smoke should highly consider this alterantive. I also cook with and make oils containing THC, which are also wonderfull alternatives to smoking. let the commments fly...... ![]()

So I guess I never posted my findings??? Here they are! I HAVE the photos somewhere, I really have to dig around! ````````````````````````````````````````````````` It smoked with no problem, little flavor though. I vaporize, so I like to think I get more favor, but flavor was lacking with the watercure. The high seemed to be a bit stronger since it shrunk a bit, I stuffed more weed into the wand, and puffed a clean bud. It stored nice. But I MISSED the aroma! It was there, but different... I feel that everyone should try new things with their plants, bud, etc. Water cure is def one of them. Its a different experience, and the efforts that go into such a thing as curing make the weed that much more enjoyable. However, the brownpaper bag dry method is still tops on my list ![]() Thanks everyone! -GT

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wonder if this could be a viable way of removing contaminants from buds... There's been an escalation of unscrupulous people spraying various things on weed in the UK recently, simply to bump weights. sugar being one of the most common ![]() I might just give it a whirl and see what happens. Cheers for sharing.

I would not recommend this method to anyone. It will negatively affect your potency and weight and who wants bud that doesnt smell? This should only be attempted in emergencys imho. just my two cents.
