i herd that from a really good water cure, a good test is how smooth the smoke is, and how the ash after you smoke it is from a pale yellow to a white color. however this might be just cureing in general. any way iv also read a little bit on water cureing and from what iv herd and read, its a really good way to quickly cure bud to its highest potential and potency, getting rid of lots of the sh*t you dont want. all though lots of weight is lost, if your only growing for your self, who cares! im interested on the outcome of the quality of smoke you get outa this GT! ill be checkin back for updates and pics!  i also was planning on trying this method of cure after my first harvest which is very near. maybe ill learn a thing or two from your little experiment first so i dont make the same mistakes  not saying you will come acoss any, lol, i just hope i learn from this.i would have also liked to know just how much weight is lost, from fresh to finished cured, it would have been a little interesting tid bit to add IMO. Best of luck, and happy growing GardenThis!  oh and the obsesion on makeing everything you do in the grow room better, and thinking about it all the time! TOTALY know where your comeing from, i find my self thinking about and getting excited to come home! i started my grow with the intent to throw some beans in dirt and leave it be. THEN i found this site... and it allll changed lol, as i learned i began to want to do more and do the best i could for the plants, then i learned some more, and i began to obsess, and soon it bacame a hobby that consumed lots of my time! i love it! and i havnt even goten to the best part yet! my first harvest is yet to come! my harvest hyman is still fully intact, lol but im very willing and eager to change that!

Here is the moment you have all been waiting for: Both buds were about the same size at start. See the loss? The smell is almost gone yet it is very clean. The regular dryed bud still has a hint of Hay but the MJ smell is starting to shine through. about 9 days of cure should do. --- Smoke test to come and documented resources... -GT
