Question drying/curing question??
permalink

i have a plant that has been drying for 4 days and the buds are crispy but the stems dont snap they bend still should i wait until the stem snaps. And what takes longer curing or drying more information is that my plant is 27 inches how long would that take to cure nicely i will be using a mason jar and if there is little moisture will put orange peels in it but i need info on how long it will take to cure. And is the curing process where the weed starts smelling like weed because mine smells like dank if i give the buds a gentle squeeze.

You need to chop them up before you put them in jars bro. Lesson learned, LARGE COLAS IN JARS MAKE FOR MOLD!!!! Curing can last a while, perhaps 1month or more. You should put them in large grocery paper bags before you jar them up for a cure. Check for mold every day, even if you have to rough them up a little, trust me, its worth it.

You dont need to cure to smoke it.... curing is like aging a wine... it only gets better w/ age!

Patience is key after harvest. Read up on properly curing your bud and go from there. You can smoke it once it is crisp, but it won't taste that great. 3 days is not gonna make much difference.
