Ok im growing in Texas and started early May, should I wait until my buds are 75% redish brown? Also, what are the different effects from cutting at this time or earlier/later? Thanks

Harvesting earlier will give ya more of a up high, while harvesting later will give you more of a couchlock. But if you do it too early or too late and the THC levels is affected. Indicas usually have a 2 weeks time frame to be harvested in. Sativas can have as much as a 4 week window.

Take a look at the trichomes. They are a much more accurate way of harvesting your crop.
