Whats everyones best ideas on how to store this really really sticky honey hash oil (BHO)? I put it on Aluminum Foil and put it in the freezer, however after about 3 times of taking it out of the freezer and getting some honey off the foil tears and then is impossible to get the honey off.
my only solution is to store the honey hash in one hitters or bowl sized pieces, so that i just take what i need out of the freezer. but id really like to keep it all together.....any ideas?

I've always kept my oil in viles...it is a pain in the ass to get it in there, but once it's in it makes for easy storage and handling. Just scrape it onto a knife, heat it up a bit, and drip it into the vile...slow but worth it.

I like the idea of keeping it in a glass vile but how would you get it out? The best way i have found to handle the BHO is to freeze it so it becomes hard and doesnt stick to anyhting and everything.......

I find it very hard to work with when its cold. I use a mini flat head screw driver to scoop then smear. If the oils too hard to work with, just heat the vile up a little with a lighter.

And after the viles get down to those last few hard to get remaining scrapes, put some boiling water in it the vile and give it a shake. The oil falls off and floats around, then use a pin to retrieve it.

I find its much easier, cept it warms very quickly. cuz i can handle it and break off a chunk with a knife with out it sticking to everything.

but i havent tried puttign it all in a vile, so what im gathering is that you like to apply it when its warm and "oil" like so that its more of a liquid than a solid?

I will have to try heating my next batch up a little and mess with this vile thing. sounds like a bit of work but in the end i wont be left with pieces of foil and honey stuck to it all.

That's just it...it is a pain right in the ass, but once it's in there you're golden. Better than a knife is a scupula if you can find one, it saves a bit of mess...but chances are there will still be sticky spots all over the place

Oh ya...don't drip it on your pants, it doesn't come out believe me!

you just saved me a hour of frustration, trying to clean my pants ill make sure i dont get it on me

oh and stupid question but where do you get the viles? is there some place thats cheap and convient like a store, what would these viles be used for if somone else bought them?

well one google search provided me many options to buy them online and they are 50 pennies a piece....not bad. but id really like to just buy them locally any ideas?

i know you are looking for an answer to storage, but my solution is leave it in the bowl or dish you used to make the oil in. i just cover it with saran wrap or a plastic lid, and just take and use when needed. make more when i run out. im lazy, and this is the best solution for me, and i dont need to hide it or anything.

I reuse the same dish each time so that would be a pretty easy thing to do, and I dont have to hide it either I could just stick it in my pantry next to the flour

I just made some BHO a few minutes ago and I think im going to leave it all in the dish when it evaporates and if i really need to take some of it, camping or whatever ill try the vile method.
