im about to chop my ladies and tought about doing some hash from my trim.

i red all the threads about hash.all included several types of silk screens(200,150,100,75,microns).
all i could find in an artists store is a silk screen but the guys in the store dont know what type is it 200/150/100/75 micron

any ideas what i can do with just 1 size silck screen?

and thats all i can afford i have checked all the links for bubble bags its f expensive

Is there a "thread count" listed. Usually at least silk screen has a thread count which is not the same as miron size of the "holes" between the threads.

wallak--If you want to go cheap bags, I'd suggest doing 2 of them at least, or you'll end up with too much plant matter, and might as well just smoked the leafs themselves and lasted longer. Do 2 and get one between 100-120 and a 25 micron bag would be my suggestion for doing it really cheap. The 120 bag will get out all the plant material and you'll have some great hash with the 25 micron bag. Ask some stoner friends too, I know a few people that have 8 bag sets and 7 years into this still borrow them for my hash making. If it's your first harvest I'd suggest looking into cooking with it, you'll get more bang for your buck IMO.

Happy Baging

Here's a method
. Not the best but the cheapest. All you need is a little silk screen

110 Mesh White 50" Screen Mesh Yrd - you don't even need one yard. I got mine at an art store locally. Find a good art store and look for the silk screening supplies.

Here is a conversion chart for Thread Count to Micron Sizes...it will give you a good starting point. It is a Word document, sorry if you don't have word. I cut and pasted it from some web page linked to from this site.

IMO. If you cant find any silk screen with a low micron size (20-30) to collect the resin glands you are better off using the syphon/evaportaion method like was linked to by analog Well at least that is my plan.

Well, frozen should be fine for a long time. My wife keeps Keffer (sp?) lime leaves in the freezer forever.

wallak--You can keep them in the freezer as long as you want. In fact it'll help knock the trichs off the plant matter when you do bag it with them being frozen.

Here's some bubble bagged trim sitting on a plate here. The front left one is the 120 micron bag and still has to much plant material for me to be able to press it into hash, not good. The right front pile is the 73 micron bag I used and that's where for me the hash really starts. You need 2 bags to get that plant material out, or you won't be happy with your hash I'd expect. IMO of course too. The 45 and 25 micron bags are on another plate and better yet than the 73 bag.
