Oh..ohhhh.. I always let mine dry before freezing them.. wonder if Ive been doing it wrong or just adding an unnecessary step? Definitely interested to hear about a new water extraction method though![]()

![]() ![]() | I'l go put it in the freezer right now!! Hellraizer said something I never even thought about though.....IS it supposed to be dry when you freeze it or can you just pop it in the freezer while its still wet? (This honestly did not occur to me......)

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I may have started drying them before freezing because when I made tea or something I found the 'green' taste to be too strong.. After drying then freezing, I noticed a decrease in 'green' taste but no decrease in potency. So Im not convinced not drying VS drying would be any different if making hash. Anyone up for the experiment? ![]()

![]() | Interesting! So by saying you're putting it wet in the freezer, can one assume that you could be making bubble hash the day after a harvest? Let's say you got more buds than you know what to do with, you could theoretically use the trim and the small buds, freeze it for oh, lets say 12 hours, get some ice and start making bubble hash? Kinda cool if that works, no need drying and curing the trim ![]()

Theoretically I guess you could.. The whole point of freezing is to make the trichs come off easier.. But making hash and preparing to eat would be 2 different things IMO.. Ill stick to drying then freezing for food and quick freezing for hash making.. Anyone know how long it takes to actually freeze trichs?

![]() | It takes about 2 hours to freeze a leaf I dry mine out, freeze ,then grind it in a coffey grinder ,the kif sticks to the plastic lid va static charge this is then used for cooking. So it depends on hash-making proses you use ![]()

![]() ![]() | Now is bubble hash done with small screens? It seems to me that it would be hard to scrape wet weed through a screen......even frozen but maybe I'm wrong.
