![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There is no 'scraping' when making bubble/water extraction. You basically stir-sit-drain... The small particles that can fit through the screen is what you want. If you scrape it, leaf will eventually see its way through pretty much ruining everything.. ![]()

The screen sizes are measured in microns, from 25 up to 200 plus depending on the bag manufactrure you have. The best hash comes from the smaller sized screens, and the larger the size, usually the more plant material you'll end up with. It only takes my freezer an hour to freeze a bag of trim. Now the wet freezing or dry freezing is up to you. I find the wet freezing seems to cut down on the amount of plant material found in the final product. Take a wet leaf, and a dry leaf and place them on the table, flatter with placing a book on each of them for a couple seconds, pick up the book and see which one has busted up the leaf more. The dry one will be all busted up, and once the dried frozen leaf thaws in your water, then it becomes more brittle, not as bad as dried and squished on the table, but the wet trim seems more pliable when it thaws and don't get the leaf parts busting up as much. I only keep my 73, 45 and 25 bags either way and give away the 120,160, 190 bags material they collected with too much plant material doing it with frozen trim, or dried trim. Happy Growing Alleycat

![]() ![]() | Well I did make some with some dry trim I put in the freezer and got a LOT more hash at the end and it had less impurities too so THANKS everyone who suggested keeping it in the freezer. One last question and then I'll bug off.....anyone think it might make a difference if you were to dry AND grind the weed before you freeze it or would it make no difference than grinding it AFTER it's frozen?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I always dry my trim, then put it in to the freezer, just my two cents, the moisture in the trim and the humidity of the freezer could cause mold to grow.

Weedhound--Don't grind mine, so no help there. I guess I was always worried I'd end up with more plant material if it was ground up in the final hash product. No proof of that though, cause never tried it. Happy Growing Alleycat
