Bubble hash can get you seriously high.

BHO however...will peel your face off.

Irregardless of which method used, if your tolerance to THC is quick to catch up to what you're toking...be mindful that toking hash or oil in excess is going to leave your bud seeming awfully underwhelming for a couple days'n nights after your last bowl of the really really REALLY good stuff.

as far as i know, BHO doesn't even require further processing to be already budder... tho many use such a finishing procedure to ensure the butane is removed and for a more evenly mixed consistency in the final product

but Romulan budder never gets hard, for example viscosity seems to be related to strain and cannabinoid composition as well
as the oxidation of THC into CBN

I have made ISO oil many times, and enjoy it, however I would not call it a "chemical free extraction" due to useing the ISO alcohol.

if you are a purist, the best you can do is bubble hash, wet or dry, sieving.

if you are searching for the best, most potent form of thc, that would be the butane honey oil. hands down. crude BHO is what most of us know it as, it can then be purified, if one has the chemistry knowledge, you can purify the amber'd/brown colored honey oil to a completely clear appearance, hence no impurities. not too many people have this kind of knowledge or access to the tools needed to do this, which is why you dont see this form (clear hash oil) around much. but, i bet this clear BHO is the bomb, lol.

there is much discussion over the health effects of the chemicals used, to make BHO and whether or not the "bad" chemicals used to make the BHO are present enough after production, to be of health concern. there is plenty of debate over the possible health effects. i suggest reading, and making your own decisions.
