I don't want my thread closed so I'm posting here cause you could recycle the resin and smoke it but anyways what's the best way to clean your glass? thanks for any help

While there is a de-gunking detergent like product or two specifically made for this chore that you may undoubtably purchase at your local head shop, I understand a bit of "Clean Green" and hot water works just as well. J

I use sand and alcohol to clean my glass bowl. 50/50 and shake like hell .

Unless a scratched effect is what you're shooting for I wouldn't recommend using sand to clean a glass pipe. There a dozens, if not hundreds, of glass pipe cleaners out tthere, just choose one and if it doesn't work as well as you'd like try another. I've used isopropyl alcohol and Q-Tips for my glass bowl and then rinsed well with hot water.

Try this.

Liquid butane ( zippo fuel ) works wonders!

surface resin you can remove with a paper towel dampened with butane, smaller places, try Q-tips .

MAKE SURE TO RINSE VERY WELL!!!

I've also done this with plastic, some of you might not agree with that, but butane evaporates quickly and pretty clean as well.

I have made it a habit of rinsing with dish soap before using. Never too careful i say!

I do the isopropyl or ethyl alcohol and rice thing. It's like the sand above, but it won't scratch the glass. And rice can get way into the nooks and crannies. "50/50 and shake like hell" pretty much sums it up.

Yup, with the two foot Grafix in my long distant past, alcohol and dry rice was the solution. Now, empty ketchup bottles, silicone caulk, and clear PVC tubing are my only options

also i read you can make hash oil by soaking buds/leaf ect,in grain alchol.,straining it then drinking shots of the "hash oil".
does any1 know if i can use something else?grain alchol isnt sold around here.could you smoke this "hash oil" on a blunt/joint?
i really did look around for an answer just couldnt find 1.

yeah, "grain alcohol" is the stuff you buy at the liquor store. If you can get Everclear that's the purest stuff, but 151-proof rum will work also.

Just make sure you DON'T try this with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, unless you want a trip to the hospital.
