Ryoko makes some hash with the "XXX-tractor" bags.

The XXX-Tractor bags are a product similar to "Bubble Bags", used to extract hash from your weed in ice water. They come in various sizes, I chose the small 1-gallon kit. It comes with 3 bags, hence the 'triple extractor' name. I do not know what the mesh sizes are on each of the bags, it was not listed. The bags are available for sale on xxxtractor . com, which is based in Quebec.

The instructions are documented on their website, so I will only write about them briefly. To sum it up, you freeze your herbs, mix them in ice-water within the extractor bags, and then use the bags to filter out your hash. Then you smoke the hash.

So I bought the bags and rushed home to try them out. I used about 50g of trim material, fan leaves and other junk like that, saved from my last harvest. I ended up with 3g of normal-grade hash, 1g of high grade hash, and a tiny amount after that of decent hash ... because I did a 2nd rinse through the bags. The 2nd rinse didn't yield a lot, but it was worth doing. (5 mins of work = 2 extra doses of hash.)

I still haven't tried the 1g or 3g chunks yet, so far I have only smoked a small amount of the 'low grade' 2nd rinse hash. And its pretty good stuff. I'll try out the other hash chunks soon enough.
All in all, I got 4 grams of hash out of 50g of junk trim, which was going to be tossed anyway. 4g of free hash ... weee! I can't wait for next harvest...

There seems to be alot of spinoffs to the bubblebag now - Im sure they all work fine -

But im interested in developing a simple DIY model for HC members - And myself for that matter

It couldnt be too hard to make - There is nothing we havent conquered here so why not give it a go ?>

Main equipment to acquire would be the different grade filters -
