hey all i wood like to know about how much hash i can make from 1/2oz.good buds. i nor have any of my friends made hash before but have smoked and its awesome so if anyone knows id really appreciate it. thanx Md

I think you get something near like 5% of the totl weight of the weed; roughly .....

So for 200grams of weed you should get 10 grams of hash ....

so if done with precision and the highest possible return you could possibly get about 0.7 grams of hash from 1/2 oz of weed

I'd rather save my weed

Most ppl you see on the boards making hash do it from the cuttings and clippings that come from manicuring their buds and not the buds themselves

Not sure if you read my post on "mildew problem on white widow" but i had some leftover bud from a project gone bad, was white widow bud with mildew on it that i did not want to smoke, i usded about 1/4oz of BUD and got about 0.8 G of hash.

Now,

Let me tell you 1 thing, this was the best hash i have ever had, Filled mason jar 3/4 with cold water, dropped dry crumled weed into it, filled the rest with ice cubes and shake like crazy. Let it rest for 1/2 hour then bump the jar to get more crystals to fall from the gunk on top of the water ( all the leaf will float and resin will drop on the bottom ).

After a few hours, open jar and scoop out leaf matter ( throw it into a 2nd jar and repeat process for 2nd class hash ) then carefully pour the contents into a coffee filter, scoop the rest off the bottom of the jar with your finger, squish out as much water as possible and mead the content of the filter and fingers into your hand it will make a putty soft hash ( Kind of crumbly and powdery at start but it will stick...) Mmm Mmmm Good.!

2-3 Bt's of this and i was cooked...

I found it to be a good way to use this bad weed, it was superb BUD but i could not throw it out!

Next project, HONEY OIL!

Note/Question: Does anyone know if store baught Ether in cans ( aerosol kind ) is pure? does it have any additives, reason for asking ; using ether to extract oil from leaf, would the ether evaporate cleanely? or leave a residue? Can ether be baught in liquid form in a bottle?
