Hey guys, this is how i make oil from the left overs of a grow (leaves and stems)
All u need is: Tin foil, cardboard tube, milk bottle cap, 2 cans of butane, insulation tape.

1. Chop all cabbage and stems finely
2. Take a paper towel or tinfoil carboard tube
3. Place a milk bottle cap on one end, and tape on well
4. Pack the tube up against the closed end as tight as possible with the shredded weed. the more packed the better
5. Cut off carboard tube where the packed marijuana finishes (so theres no extra room)
6. Place 4-5 layers of tin foil on the open end, tape on and use a pin to make a LOT of holes, make a few big ones, not too big so the weed dont fall out.
7. Use a hot nail or something to make a hole in the centre of the cap on the other end, big enough for the nib of the butane can spray through, but not so big that it can fit into the hole.
8. Hold over a cup and spray the butane in one end, but stop for 10 seconds or so for every 30 seconds spraying.
9. after a while, a yellow or green liquid will begin dripping into the cup, this is liquid butane, make sure there is no flames or anything to ignite it around, or it will blow your hands off.
10. Fill 1 or 2 glasses or what ever your catching it in (depending on the amount of leaves and stalks) with the liquid
11. Leave in the sun (make sure it dont get too hot!) We used the car heaters, all the liquid will begin fizzing, this is the butane evaporating. It will take up to 30 minutes to completely evaporate and leave you with some really sticky oil around the glass and in the bottom. A frost of ice will form around the cup, clear this off every now and again to make evaporation faster.
12. You can heat this to make it easier to scrape (it wont explode now)

This may sound a bit dodgey, but it works great - we have done it numerous amounts of times. It makes great oil.
You are left with a tube of un usable cabbage, if butanes your thing, you can inhale straight thru the tube (massive buzz).

Give it a try, butanes like $2 a can. You will be pleased with the oil.

I personally prefer extracting it with acetone as the final product is less likely to blow up in my face. Oils can retain butane in solution, acetone evaporates out leaving nothing but the sticky fun goodness

Oh yeah, good idea im gonna try that. Lol last time we got cheap nasty butane and it stank like fart . I was gagging the whole time. Maybe a hint is dont get extremely cheap stuff, it smells like LPG.
