![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | OK Step #1 Get some frosty trich covered materials stems, leaves, buds, etc. ![]() Step #2 Get 3 5 gal buckets atleast one exceptionaly clean one(please do not use a dirty old buckets). Atleast one metal/brass screen coffee filter, one metal mesh cooking strainer smallest mesh size you can find, and some regular cheap paper coffee filters snag a few for free from any place that has free coffee. Have ice handy Do this out doors if pissible and have water at your convienence. ![]() Step #3 Get some ICE and mix your ice and trim in Bucket 1(should be the cleanest nicest bucket of them all) with enough water to make the ice float about 4 inches or more off the bottom. I broke my ice block up with a hammer in the bucket before adding my water. I mixed the ice in with the trim before adding the water just to get the trichs cold before they got wet. I then let it sit and chill for a minute as I prepared for the next steps. Once I was prepared I added water mixed it up real good ![]() ![]() ![]() Step #4 After mixing the hell out of the ice & trim. Let sit for a while like 10 minutes stiring gently not to create a current near the bottom of the bucket let the trichs fall down and rest in the bottom. Then Leave smoke a bowl and come back. Using the metal mesh strainer strain the ice and the top floating plant debris away gently. Dump the strained out ice and stuff into your second bucket for your final rinse later(if you choose it's not necessary). Once the top floating ice and plant matter are removed from your bucket there will be more plant debris that fell to the bottom. Poor the remaining contents of bucket one(the one with the trichs still in the bottom) through the cooking strainer into unused bucket 3 when done it should look something like this give or take some plant matter. ![]() Step #5 While this mixture of trichs and bits of leafy plant matter sits in bucket 3. Clean out emptied bucket 1 till it has nothing but a few drops of water left in it(does not have to be dry just clean) The second filter I use a brass metal coffee filter to strain out the remaining plant matter. Poor contents of bucket 3 through the brass coffee filter into now clean bucket 1. Once done withs tep 5 it should look like this. ![]() I had some fun with Pshop ![]() ![]() Step #6 Smoke another bowl while waiting for the trichs to sink in bucket 1 and clean your brass coffee filter with some water(does not have to be dry). Wait about 30 minutes or more for trichs to sink. Once they have sunk to the bottom gently remove as much top water as possible using a small cup or turkey baster with out disturbing the resting trichs. You will start to see the trichs/hash resting on the bottom as you remove more and more water. Once enough water is removed take your now clean brass coffee filter and place a paper coffee filter in it. Gently and slowly poor your remaining water and trichs through the coffee filters letting the water strain out leaving your hash behind. Once all water is strained through. Gently pick the paper coffee filter out of the brass one holding the edges together. Gently squeeze as much water out of the paper filter with out ripping the filter. ![]() ![]() Step #7 Take your Hash filled paper filter and set it on the side in a safe place. Clean up your mess. When done cleaning take your hash still in the filter inside and grab a couple sheets of paper towels. Fold the paper towels up nicely. Unwrap teh lil squeezed up paper filter full of hash gently exposing the hash on the top side( I hope) Fold circular unfolded paper filter full of hash in half. Then fold one more time to makea quarter pie slice. Place neatly folded pie shaped wet paper fillter filled with wet hash into dry paper towel (say that ten times fast). Using the paper towel sandwich the hash pie slice imbtween a nice fold on the paper towel and pat the rest of the moisture out. By now its pretty much dry and ready to be smoked or scraped into a jar (let it dry a bit more before sealing it up). ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | looking at the screen maybe its not brass think its copper oh well doesnt matter really just as long as you use a fine metal filter to remove the bulk of the plant matter.

This method shouldn't be used for large quantities of trim. If your gona do a large amount of trim I'd deffinatly suggest getting the real bubble bags or an equivilant.
