![]() | I use a plain old white bucket and Ive never had a problem with algae growing. I dont think you have to worry about it if your flushing your tank often and dont have an INSANE amount of light. I ASSUME youre talking about DWC right? | ||

![]() | Pretty simple solution... works well, lacks the expense and hassle of duct tape or other materials. Don't use white buckets. I'm using 5 gallon $3 dark blue from Lowes with 1000w HPS HORT and no algae(and they match my dark blue rubbermaid res LOL). Theres also black, orange around. All better than white which lets the most light through. Of course the rest of the system is also pretty much light proof. | ||
